Gmail Labs has lot of additional features which one can Enable to
suite his needs. By Default these features are disabled to prevent your
Gmail from becoming bulky and slower. Inserting Pictures is one of its
features, which allows you to upload and insert images from your
computer or simply by giving the URL of any image in the email body.
Now in the Compose Email section you will see picture icon in the toolbar which allows you to insert pictures in the message body.
Along with insert picture feature, you can enable or disable many other features in Gmail Labs.
How to Insert Picture in Gmail
- In your Gmail account click on the Wrench icon and select Mail Settings.
- In your Mail Settings, go to Labs tab to view the list of all additional features.
- Now in the features list look for the Insert Image feature and select the Enable radio button.
- At last click on the Save Changes button to apply the changes.
Now in the Compose Email section you will see picture icon in the toolbar which allows you to insert pictures in the message body.
Along with insert picture feature, you can enable or disable many other features in Gmail Labs.
